Antique Presentations and Appraisals

The Historical Society is teaming up with the Tinley Park Public Library for an afternoon with antiques appraiser Rex Newell. Learn about trends in the antiques market, see unique and interesting items appraised, and learn about their value.
Appraisals will be limited to the first 40 people, but all are welcome to attend. Only one item per registered participant. No firearms, Asian items, or Native American art or artifacts will be accepted. Military items acceptable.
Christmas Celebration at the Museum
Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 – Noon till 5:00 pm
Sunday, December 4th, 2022 – Noon till 5:00 pm
Join the Tinley Park Historical Society in celebrating our Christmas open house. Cartoons will be shown in the Chapel throughout both days. We will be giving tours of our museums both Saturday and Sunday. Hear stories about the people who contributed to the growth of the town. See pictures and artifacts of our past. As a special treat, Mr. D’s Magic Show will be presented at 3:00 pm at the Landmark Chapel on Sunday. Light refreshments will be served. All events are FREE. Come join the fun!
